Living in Taranaki and working for STOS

Taranaki is a vibrant community of around 100,000 inhabitants living around the majestic and dormant volcano, Mt Taranaki.

Our main city of New Plymouth is literally on top of the world after winning the following categories in the recent 2009 International Awards for Liveable Communities:

a Whole City Award, as the best city of our size in the world
the Sustainable Projects Award for our magnificent Coastal Walkway
a Community Sustainability Award
two gold awards (for the Whole City and Sustainable Projects categories)

And these awards came less than a month after being named the Best Place to Live in New Zealand by one of the country’s top consumer magazines - North & South.
